moving bed media,biofilm carrier is made from 100% virgin and enviromental HDPE material. The biofilm carrier density of 0.95 to 0.98 kg/cm3, so wehn moving bed media works in the MBBR process, the microorganisms attach to the biofilm carrier, it reduce the organic load. This is a fixed-film process where the moving bed media become carriers that build a floating bed in the water (as Bio-Film) and stabilize the waster water.Once submerged inside the bioreactor, the moving bed media operates as non-clogging media. No channels or dead spots like in other technologies. The movement is caused by either aeration, or being mechanically stirred, depending on reactor design and effluent requirements.
